Reading Rush 2020 | TBR

¡Hola, lectores!

¿Qué tal los trata la vida? Por lo pronto yo me he sentido bastante bien y estoy muy contenta por ello, además de que he tenido muy buenas lecturas. Literal, hace un par de horas terminé de leer Los sietes maridos de Evelyn Hugo y solo les diré que terminé destrozada y llorando (otra vez). En serio que debo ponerles al tanto de mis últimas lecturas.

Bueno, hoy estoy emocionada de decirles que este año participaré en el Reading Rush por primera vez, un maratón de lectura con consignas de retos que se llevará a cabo del 20 al 26 de julio (¡solo faltan 5 días ahhh!) y está organizado por Ariel Bisset y Releen.

So, a continuación les voy a presentar los libros que pienso leer durante esa semana de acuaerdo a los retos.

Muchos eligen un libro para cada reto, pero yo no quiero sobresaturarme y usaré un libro para dos o así.

1. Un libro con una portada que concuerde con el color de tu piedra de nacimiento.

Mi piedra es el zafiro, por lo que para esta consigna elegí un título que afortunadamente ya tenía planear en algún momento de las vacaciones, y es Renegados de Marissa Meyer. Es algo grueso pero espero que me guste por lo bien que hablaron de él cuando salió.

2. Un libro cuyo título comienza con la palabra "The"

Para este reto tenía dos opciones, pero me decidí por el libro más corto para así poder terminarlo más rápido, aunque sinceramente la diferencia de páginas entre ambos no era mucha, pero anyways.

El libro es The stars beneath our feet, libro que adquirí en mi última compra de libro ya hace un año (omg, no me lo creo) y también lo había estado queriendo leer estos meses.

3. Un libro inspirado por una película que ya viste.

Aquí lo cambiaré un poco porque no será de una película que vi, sino de una serie que acabo de terminar hace un par de días y amé, amoooo. Hablo de la serie Anne with an E, en serio la amé mucho y espero que hagan cuarta temporada (POR FAVORRR) y me gustó tanto que me entró mucha curiosidad por los libros. Así que esta es la oportunidad perfecta para empezar con el primero.

 

4. El primer libro que toques.

Para esta consigna no tengo un libro específico, será el primero que toque de mi TBR cuando quiera cumplir este reto jaja, que por cierto, está abierto a cualquier interpretación, así que lo que haré es válido.

5. Lee un libro completamente fuera de tu casa.

Este reto también está libre a interpretación porque sabemos que la pandemia aun no termina y debemos seguir cuidandonos. Evidentemente yo no salgo y no saldré para esto, tal vez lea en mi jardín o en el coche en caso de en esos días tenga que hacer un viaje en carro, y con eso lo contaré. Incluso estaba pensando en utilizar ruido de una cafetería o algo así como fondo para simular que estoy leyendo en algún lugar en el exterior. Ya varé qué hago. 

Para este reto escogí una novela gráfica para agilizar las cosas, y ésta es Auschwitz de Pascal Croci, la descubrí hace poco y me llamó la atención, además me parece perfecta para estos días nublados de verano. 

6. Un libro de un género que siempre has querido leer más. 

Para este reto estaré utilizando de nuevo Renegados, porque es un libro de ciencia ficción/distópico, los cuales son géneros que no suelo leer a menudo en los último años, así que sí, hay que ir matando dos pájaros de un tiro.

7. Un libro que tome lugar en un continente distinto al tuyo.

En este último reto también estaré utilizando de nuevo Auschwitz porque se desarrolla en Europa y pues nada, cumple con la consigna jaja.

Winter Biannual Bibliothon 2019 | Mis resultados y Experiencia

¡Hola, lectores!

¿Cómo han estado? La verdad que esta semana ha tenido algunos altibajos para mí, principalmente mental y emocionalmente hablando, y además de todas las ocupaciones que tengo, pues no habia podido pasarme por aquí para siquiera contestar sus comentarios (que ya lo haré).

En fin, este es el último día de enero, primer mes del año, así que quiero terminarlo bien. Tengo muchísmas entradas pendientes, pero pues igual, no quiero que ésta se alargue más porque ya no tendría sentido.

Hoy vengo a compartirles cuáles fueron mis resultados en el Winter Biannual Bibliothon, un maratón de lectura en el que estuve participando del 12 al 18 de este mes.

Si quieren saber más acerca de lo qué es el WinterBiBib, les dejo la entrada acá que hice dedicado a ello. Ahora sí, avancemos.

La verdad que este maratón de lectura lo disfrute mucho, y me atrevería a decir que es el que más he disfrutado delosque he hecho, porque a pesar de que fue un dasastre, también fue genial, y las cuento más a detalle el porqué.

Experiencias y daily update

Desde el primer día empecé mal jaja. Y ya tenía previsto lo que seguramente iba a hacer esa semana, pero chicos, ya a la hora muchas cosas cambian y pasan imprevistos. El sábado tuve que empezara ir a unos cursos (mismo a los que sigo yendo) y aunque si me llevé mi librito para leer en el receso, no leí mucho. Tenía planeado terminar ese mismo dia ese libro, que es Una poética del mal (ya pueden leer la reseña aquí), ya que es muy corto y son relatos, razones por las cuales sería una lectura más rápida. Peroooo, no pasó así. Tuve que hacer otras cosas cuando llegué a casa y apenas y pude leer unas páginas.

Al día siguiente, domingo, desde la mañana que fui a la ciudad, y sí leí unas páginas en cuanto tenia oportunidad (incluso en el camino, pero no todo,porque me quedé dormida buena parte lol) y como estuve todo el día fuera apenas y alcancé a publicar el reto de ese día.

El lunes fue un día más tranquilo y hasta ese día pude terminar mi primer libro (notése aquí el retraso en mis lecturas) y me parece que empecé The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo enel nook . Ya el martes inicié a leer Ángel Mecánico, que también lo traje de aquí para allá porque fui a mi clase de dibujo y a comprar cosas. Pero la verdad, me encantó leer de nuevo a personajes tan queridos como Will, Tessa, Jem y demás, y recordar esta increíble historia. Ya debería estar la reseña en el blog pero ya ven mi retraso con las entradas :v.

El resto de la semana transcurrió entre la escuela, tareas, y leer además de publicar los retos de cada día. Y el viernes terminé las 50 páginas que me quedaban de leer de Ángel Mecánico, mi segundolibro terminado.

En general, y como ya les dje, pese a no completar todos los retos de lectura, me la pasé muy bien en este maratón de lectura, disfruté mucho lo que leí, me divertí haciendo los retos en el blog más de lo que esperaba y leyendo los de los demás, y lo mejor, que me sentí muy cómoda y feliz compartiendo mi proceso del maratón con ustedes en Twitter e Instagram (por eso, vayan a seguirme, pueden ir a mi cuenta aquí a los iconos del costado), además de interactuar con otros lectores que estaban particpando en el WinterBibib a través de Twitter, leyendo todos al mismo tiempo, compartiendo nuestras reacciones y sentimientos respecto a lo que estabamos leyendo, nuestras lecturas, y motivandonos a seguir leyendo aún en la madrugada. 

En serio,que el viernes en la madrugada estaba yo leyendo Ángel Mecánico pero mi cansancio ya no me dejaba seguir, y con la motivación de los demás,logré vencer mi cansancio y seguir leyendo y disfrutando (ese día literal dormi solo como 4 horas porque más tarde tenía clases, y estaba media zombie, pero feliz por todo loque había avanzado) y en la noche de nuevo seguí con The Seven Husbands..

Y pues sí, fueuna experiencia muy grata y sin duda ya me voy anotando al SummerBiBib, así que ustedes también vayan ajustando sus agendas :D.

Como ven, leí la mitad de los libros en mi TBR, porque al final me quedé con 1/8 de The Seven Husbands leído (y ese poquito me estaba encantando, aunque ya no he podido leerlo :(, supongo que me regresaréunas páginas atrás cuando lo retomé para no perder nada). Y la verdad, no leí nada de Empress of all seasons, porque de los 4 era el último en prioridad -Sorry- aunque no descarto leerlo más adelante.

Y claro, terminé Una poética del mal (reseña ya en el blog) y Ángel Mecánico, lecturas que disfruté un montón, en especial Ángel Mecánico que no puedo esperar a reseñarles. 

Respecto a los retos, como tenía los retos repartidos entre los libros de mi TBR y como solo leí la mitad, practicamente cumplí la mitad de los retos.Si hubiera terminado The Seven Husbands sé que hubiera cumplido casi todos los retos, pero me hizo falta tiempo :(.

Aún así estoy muy satisfecha con los resultados.

Uy,uy, uy. Con este punto me siento muy feliz porque ¡cumplí todos los retos!, aún cuando estaba fuera todo el día y apenas tenía tiempo,pero ese ratito en el que me sentaba a escribir y además pensar qué era lo que haría para cada reto era genial y disfrutéde cada momento de ello, aunque también tuve uno que otro momento de estrés por las demás cosas que tenía que hacer.

Todos los retos fueron muy divertidos de hacer, y aunque creía que iban a estar muy fáciles, si le pensé un rato para algunas cosas. Espero que si les haya gustado y que no haya sido tan mala escribiendo en inglés jaja.

Day 7: Last day of Winter Biannual Bibliothon: Winter Bookish tag!

Hi, readers! Oh, Gosh, today is the last day of Winter Biannual Bibliothon and I am so happy because I finished today Clockwork Angel and I love it so much as the first time or more. I have started to write the review so you could read my thoughts and feelings about it soon, wait for it maybe on Sunday or Monday. By the other side, I know I won't read all the books in my TBR, that is sad, but anyways, I have enjoyed so much this readathon. Also, I will bring you the results and experiences of WinterBiBib probably this weekend, so wait for so many posts here :D

Haha, it's a bit weird because I slept till 2:00 am today reading but I don't feel tired, rather the opposite, I feel lively :)

Well, so it's the time of the last blogger challenge, that is a great booktag, so let's dive in.

A great question. Mmm, I think this time I will say Jem Carstairs. Jem is very soft, cute and calm, and I imagine a walk with him through the falling snow talking calmly about things and about the beauty of all.

So for this one I will choose The Name of the Wind, because is a big book with an amazing fantasy story and read the adventures and life of Kvothe by the fire would be great.

Each snowflake that falls is beautiful and unique. Pick a book that is beautiful and unique to you (a book that stands out to you!)

Definitely, Call me by your name by Andre Aciman. This is one of my favorite books of my whole life. It's so beautiful, its plot, its writing style, and characters, they are pure art and beauty for me also unique because it's a kind of reading I don't read often and the way that makes you feel what you are reading it's just so unique and special. I love it with all my heart.

5. The fire is slowly dying

Oh, no! Your fire is slowly burning out. Name a book you wouldn't mind throwing into the fire to keep it going (a book you dislike)

Uh! That book would be with sure 12 Things toDo Before You Crash and Burn.

I didn´t like this book neither a bit, I could tolerate the protagonist and for me, the story doesn't have none plot or point. The one point bad about burning it out is that is pretty short and it wouldn't keep the fire on for a long time.

6. Underneath the mistletoe

Name a character you wouldn't mind getting caught under the mistletoe with

Well, I have said before here in the blog, and indeed a have an image of us 🙈. That person is... Will Herondale!!!! What a surprise haha. Will is one of my stronger crushes, I love him so so much and after reread Clockwork Angel I love him even more.

Just see us! We are adorable and that picture of us is perfect, the mistletoe above us and the snow falling, the kissing, all perfect. And don´t get confused me with Tessa, I am definitely that girl. Remember the moment make me blush 😳😊😉.

7. What's this?

What book would you hope to find wrapped up as a gift?

Without thinking I have the answer: Note to self by Connor Franta. Oh, Gosh, I WANT this book since last year so bad, I really want to read it and the edition is so perfect. It hurts me doesn't have it in my hands.

8. A Weasley Family Christmas

What bookish family do you want to spend the winter season with?

Well, the question has the answer. I would love to spend winter with Weasley Family, they are so cool, funny and lovely. But also, I'll choose Silva Family from The inexplicable logic of my life, they are an awesome Mexican-American family, lovely and great. Yeah, they both are great.

9. Freeze!

What character(s) would you want to have on your team for a snowball fight?

Wow! How funny! I would to want to have the Weasley twins, Rudy Steiner, Percy Jackson and Izzy Lightwood, I think we would be a great team!

10. Hot Butterbeer

What fictional hot drink would you like to have to keep warm while you read?

I just can think about hot butterbeer, butterbeer would be!

Day 6 Winter Biannual Bibliothon: Fireside reads

Hi, readers! Omg! WinterBiBib is finishing and I have just finished reading a book :(
However, I am enjoying the readathon so much.

For the sixth challenge of WinterBiBib, we have to mention our top of favorite books to read by fire, they can be books that you already read or want to.

I will choose 5 books, so here is my top five:


1. Love Letter to the Dead by Ava Dellaira

I really loved this book when I read it. Love letter is a book about growing up and discover yourself, also grief, and how we can read here, sometimes that is pretty hard and painful, so you need feel love and warmth that makes you feel more secure and comfortable, a thing that you can feel reading by the fire too.

2. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak 

The Book Thief is one of my favorites books, I love it. I would love read this book again by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate, it just that it has some moments where the atmosphere and the situations make you feel the cold that is inside that place and time in the history of the world so you could feel warm despite it, but also, read it by the fire will make even more real the hardness and that scene of books and all burning (Oh, no, I get a bit sad remembering the final :( ). But yes, I think it will be great.

3. Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick

I don't know, but when I imagine me reading by the fire, I do it reading a book that makes you feel cold and chill by any reason, and so you can feel less that sensation. So this is book does that, just by the title you can guess it. This book is like a suspense-thriller book and also the story runs in the woods while is falling a snowstorm, so yes, all the time you are alert and feeling the cold of the environment and the trama, oh gosh, if I read this book in two sittings, I would finish it in one reading it by fire.

4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I read this book a week ago and I loved it. Its supernatural and paranormal elements make it perfect to be a book to read by the fire because I feel that that will make the atmosphere of the book more vivid and real, make you feel the paranormal things stronger and all the experience of reading this book more interesting.

5. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.

And for the last one, Eleanor & Park, what unlike the other books, this is so sweetie that makes you feel warm, and by the fire, I think it will be nicer and cozy reading it.

So, yes! This is my top 5 of book to read by the fire, I would like to have that experience. Comment below what books you would choose to read like this or if you have read by the fire :)

Day 5 Winter Biannual Bibliothon: Winter Trips with your favorite Characters

Hi, Readers! How is going your life? Today was my first day of classes in my last semester of high school and I am glad of see again my friends. 

By the other hand, I continue reading Clockwork Angel and I am loving it, I love so much this worlds, these characters and this story, I am so happy of rereading this amazing book. And about The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I think I gonna continue with it this night or so.

So today is day 5 of WinterBibib and for this challenge, we have to describe your top 5 favorite characters to take a winter trip. 

First, I would love to have a winter trip in a cabin with nature contact, in a place where snows, because in my country just in some places snows sometimes and I haven't had the luck to live or visit those places, so I never in my life have seen or touch snow, a thing that I really want to.

And the character I'd love to do this winter trip are these:

1. Percy Jackson (from Percy Jackson series)

Yes, I know. I always mention Percy, but he is one of my most favorite characters and crushes. Percy is a lovely and funny person, with who you always get a good time with his company. His occurrences would do that we never bore and also he is a good friend. Plus, he is a demigod, so, if we are problems or a monster comes, I know he will save us.

2. Rudy Steiner (from The Book Thief)

Well, Rudy is another great and lovely character, he is funny too and I would love to play a snowball fight with him and football. He would have great ideas to have fun and enjoy the wood and snow. 

Also, he is more accustomed to cold weather so will make a light atmosphere.

3. Lucy Pevensie (from Chronicles of Narnia)

I have realized that my Winter trip it would be with amazing lovely persons because Lucy is it so too.

Her and Rudy, that are more childish (imagining Percy is now grown up as a teen) will make a perfect atmosphere and time. Also, Lucy has this child spirit, imagination and she can do all magic. I would love to make snowman and angels in the snow with her, all playing hide and seek to have fun. Plus, maybe in our cabin will be a wardrobe so she could take us to Narnia, it will be great! And if someone gets hurt, she always has her magic thing to cure, so...

4. Ridge (from Maybe Someday)

I wasn't pretty sure of him, to be honest, haha, but then I think 'I would love being around the chimney drinking coffee and playing and singing songs, and he came to my mind. Ridge plays the guitar and sings beautifully, also, he is such a good person and cute, so I think we can spend a great time together.

5. Molly Weasley (from Harry Potter series)

I definitely needed a maternal figure on my trip, and Molly is perfect to this time. She is so lovely, I am sure she would consent us having cozy sweaters with our first name letter, delicious food, and great stories. Plus, her magic will be very useful. Maybe she could nag us for play in the snow for so long, but she just so sweetie. And again, if someone wants to hurt us or something, I am pretty sure she will defend us, bitch!

Day 4 Winter Biannual Bibliothon: Book Clickbaits, you won't be able to not read!

Hi, readers! Readathon is going and we are already on day 5, so for today the challenge is to do a clickbait of three-five of our favorite books, so here are mine:

Day 3 Winter Biannual Bibliothon: Bookish Madlibs

Hi, readers! How are you? I hope fine because I am really tired, yesterday or better said today I slept at 1:00 am and although I woke up late I was tired and also all day I had to do chores and order and organizing my bedroom (it was a true mess) and my bookshelves (yay! Finally, I have bookshelves, later I gonna share you a photo, I love them). 

So I just have read some pages of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in the morning and till now I have time to sit and write the blogger challenge of today. But at least I finished already a book, Una poética del mal, although I planned finished it the first day, you know, my readathons are a mess haha.

The challenge of today is very funny and it consists in complete a Madlibs with some words of prompts you chose, so here is Madlibs complete:

The 2019 Winter Biannual Bibliothon was in full swing, but you were craving just a bit more adventure. As you settle in to pick up your current read, Kvothe barges into your room, surprising you. You’re told that Kvothe’s land is in trouble and you’re needed to aid in finding the Time Turner, the only item that will restore peace and that you’re the only person that can help.

Ecstatic to finally be the chosen one, you agree to help Kvothe on this quest! As you begin to travel to their land, you find out that others have tried and failed to retrieve this magical artifact and that you are the last hope. You also find out that because no one has succeeded in this quest, no one knows what you’re up against. There are rumors that you need to defeat 436482 Hippogriffs.

Excited, yet nervous, you and Kvothe locate the wise elven protector of the land to learn as much as you can about this artifact and how to retrieve it. The elf informs you the artifact is located in the deepest part of Modeg, to your dismay. You and Kvothe venture for a month to make it to this new land.

Along your journey, you spent your free hours training to master playing music, hoping this new skill will give you an advantage against your unknown foe. Shortly after arriving at this dangerous land, you finally are face to face with your nemesis, Lord Voldemort.

Though you’ve been training, coming face to face with your foe begins to strike you with fear. Your companion encourages you to be strong and reminds you that you’ve been preparing for this. When you go to use your new skill, you learn that Voldemort is a master. Nervous, you use the only maneuver you have left. You challenge them to Scrabble. Taken aback by this tactic, they hesitate before reluctantly accepting your challenge. Filled with new confidence, you quickly defeat them!

Begrudgingly, Voldemort awards you the magical artifact, vowing revenge.

You and Kvothe return to their home land, where you are greeted with cheers and applause. You’re thanked repeatedly for returning the artifact and saving the land. Kvothe even shows their gratitude by giving you a hug.

The next thing you know, you are back home with your book in hand. For a moment, you think you made up the whole thing, but then you see the glint of the magical artifact out of the corner of your eye. When you look over, nothing is there, yet you know your adventure was real. With a smile growing, your turn back to your book, already ready for another adventure.

Day 2 Winter Biannual Bibliothon Challenge: Christmas Party

Hi, readers! How is going your readathon? Mine is a bit (or much) a mess because I haven't read much and also I have had so many things to do so I barely have time :(, like today, I was all day outside in the city so I tried to read of death moments but anyways, a mess (although I enjoy the day and bought many incredible clothes haha). Also edit: I was writing my challenge during the road of the back but when I just arrived at my house I did something foolish and all erased, aghhh! I almost finished.

But here I am, cheering me up haha.

So today is day 2 of Winter Biannual Bibliothon and for the blogger challenge, we have to make a list or story of 12 book characters that we would bring to our Christmas party or Christmas tea.

I'll make a story because I think sois funnier and interesting:

Christmas Eve was here and all the magic of Christmas times it could feel in the air. The dinner was ready for the meeting and the guests were coming. We all were reunited we started eating the dinner, that a feast of toasts, tamales, buñuelos, and atole. Everyone was very happy and enjoying the food while talking. The dinner was delicious and I surprised when Gansey, who by the first time tried tamales, asked more and ate so many tamales, he loved them. 

Afterward, we continue doing the 'Secret Friend' exchange, that was Charlie's idea. Everyone was excited and trying to guess who was their secret friend. Mine was Magnus, and he gave an eyeliner and a shining dress, yes, much of his style, haha but I liked it. I was the secret friend of Eleanor and I gave her a colorful scarf and a walkman with some of my favorite tapes, I think she liked her gift. The Secret Friend was great. Then we went outside and Leo lit a campfire so we ate marshmallows while we were talking. Also, Lazlo told us a beautiful Christmas story, when he finished Alaska decided it was time to play. "Let´s play Best day and Worst day, who starts? " So we played and Percy started. The game was an interesting way of know more of each other. 

Then the clock gave twelve and we all hugged and wish Merry Christmas to each other. Jem brought his violin and played some Christmas Carols while the rest were singing aloud, the enchantment was real. So Magnus brought the party to here and the music began and all were dancing. Obviously, the star of the dance floor was Magnus, but all were enjoying dancing, includes Charlie and Eleanor that were dancing between Alaska and Leo. Suddenly, George and Fred surprised us with an amazing magic fireworks in the sky and they flying in their brooms. It was an amazing spectacle, all was laughings and joy. Then Will, who was stand by my side because we were dancing before together, whispered me "I think there is something above us", we looked up at the same time and he said, "Oh!, it's mistletoe". So he kissed me. It was wonderful, Christmas was just perfect.

And our celebration ended with everyone laughing and hugged.

Día 1 Winter Biannual Blibliothon Challenge: Winter Snow Storm Fun

Hi, readers! Today is the first day of Winter Biannual Bibliothon (if you don't know what is, go to my most recent posts) and I have to say that I barely have could read because today was of day to many things for me. But anyways, the night is long haha and I am here pretty excited to do the first blogger challenge of the BIBIB.

In this challenge, we have to name three characters, 2 types of food/drink and 1 song you'd want to have to survive being in a car with, in the middle of nowhere during a snowstorm.

So this is mine:

Percy (Percy Jackson's series), Julian (Caraval), Finch (All the bright places) and I go to the coffee shop for some to eat, when we are already in the car with our coffee and tamales, suddenly a snowstorm starts so we hurry up to drive to home. But then while we are singing along Lost of Japan by Shawn Mendes, Julian, who is driving, realized we are lost no in Japan but in nowhere and also the car gets stuck in the snow. 

So, that is how we got stuck in the middle of nowhere eating our coffee with tamales and singing aloud Lost in Nowhere, waiting for someone to rescue us.

¡Winter Biannual Bibliothon! | What is & TBR

¡Hola, lectores! De nuevo yo jaja, tan feliz de estar muy activa aquí en estos días. 

Bueno, tal como les dije ayer y para que estén más que preparados si quieren particpar, este esta entrada les hablaré del Winter Biannual Bibliothon 2019,en el que estaré particpando. Espero que más alguien más decida unirse después de leer el post.

El Biannual Bibliothon es un reto de lectura que se lleva a cabo dos veces al año (por eso el 'Biannual'), una en invierno y otra en verano, generalmente. Este reto fue creado por la booktuber The Booktube Girl  y cada año se unen nuevos hosts, que este año son MissSassyKassie, Little Red Reader, LittleBookOwl, Dylanthereader5, ZarriahRose y Brittni's Book Find.

El reto consiste en leer libros que cumplan ciertos requisitos (creo que cambian cada año) en un tiempo de una semana. Además de que también debes cumplir otros retos de acuerdo a la plataforma que utilices (Booktube, Blogger o Bookstagram), aunque realmente creoque este punto es más bien opcional.

Este año el BiBib se llevará a cabo del 12 al 18 de enero y los retos de lectura serán los siguientes:

Gracias a Dios que no me costó elegir los libros que leeré y como estaré combinando retos no serán tantos los que tendré que leer.

1. Empress of All Seasons de Emiko Jean

Este libro tenía que ser sí o sí, pero además lo estaré leyendo para el reto de un autor que yo hayas leído antes.

2. The Seven Husbands de Evelyn Hugo de Taylor Jenkins Red

En cuanto vi este en la lista lo elegí, ya que tantos booktubers han hablado maravillas de él y estado en muchos de los best books top 10 of the year, pues la verdad que tengo muchísimas ganas por leerlo.

Este libro entra en las categorías de un libro de 5 estrellas de uno de los invitados y como lectura adulta.

3. Cazadores de Sombras: Los Orígenes: Ángel Mecánico de Cassandra Clare

Éste también lo tuve muy claro, puesto que Ángel Mecánico fue el libro que me hizo enamorarme de la lectura. Me da emoción leerlo después de tantos años, y me interesa que vaya a pensar esta vez de él,puesto que solo lo he leído una vez en la vida a pesar de ser uno de mis favoritos.

Y claro, este libro entra en la categoría 3.

4. Una poética del mal de Rafael Medina

Por último,  elegí este libro para las categorías 6 y 7, ya que es un libro de relatos en físico (no es algo que lea mucho o prefiera frente a otros géneros) y aparte la portada es realmente fea jaja. Además, es un libro muy cortito y eso me ayudará a tener más tiempo con los demás libros.

Y así se ven todos los libros que espero leer en una semana :)

Retos para blogueros

Ya que yo soy una bloguera y he visto que los retos no parecen difíciles y además suenan divertidos, voy a intentar cumplir, pero respectoa eso no prometo nada jaja, porque es mi primera semana de clases y habrácositas qué hacer, además de los otros posts que tengo pendientes. Retos literarios 2019

¡Hola,lectores! ¿Qué tal están? 

El día de hoy vengo con una entrada intensa o más bien un poco intimidante porque en esta ocasión les contaré sobre los retos que quiero hacer este 2019 y ya saben que es muy fácil decirlo pero no llevarlos a cabo jaja.

El año pasado hice un recuento de mis retos del 2017 y aunque el año pasado me propusé bastantes retos esta vez y seguramente, también en años posteriores no creo que lo seguiré haciendo puesto que sé que no cumplí yo creo ni la mitad de retos y sinceramente para mí lo más importante al participar y proponerme estos retos es retarme a mí misma en cuanto mi lectura y ampliar mis límites de lecturas, en plan de leer más variedad de géneros, temáticas, autores y demás. 

Así que sí,este año sé que no podré leer mucho, pero aún consciente de eso me he apuntado a varios retos por la razón anterior.

1. Reto Goodreads

El año pasado me propusé leer 73 libros en el año pero como practicamente solo leí la mitad del año no lo pude cumplir (de otra forma sé que si lo hubiera logrado). Y como este año ya sé que se me viene la entrada a la Universidad (Omg! Razón por la cual todo cambiará por aquí D:) y entrando a la Uni sé que lo más probable es que no tenga teimpo a leer (dada la carrera que quiero),pues este año también estaré leyendocomo quién dice solo la mitad del año y es por eso que me he puesto un número de 35 libros, que me parece muy aceptable.

2. Leer todos mis libros pendientes

Bueno,el año pasado no estuve leyendo mucho pero sí consumiendo, y es que por intercambios, ferias del libro o lo que sea, seguro que el 2018 seconvirtió en el año en el más libros obtuve. Así que ya tengo una enorme pila de librospor leer (cosa nunca antes vista en mí) y aunque sé que este año no los leeré todos porque también tengo otras lecturas en la mira que no son esos libros y como claramente nopodré leerlo todo, trataré de disminuir lo máximo posible esa pila de libros.

3. Reto 24 libros al año

Este reto lo vi en el canal de Raquel Bookish y me gustó mucho, además de que me pareció que sí podía cumplirlo. Consiste en leer 24 libros alaño siguiendo los siguientes requisitos:

1. Un libro escrito por un autor/a de tu país
2. Un libroescrito en un idioma extranjero
3. Un libro ambientado en elfuturo
4. Un libroambientado en una realidad paralela/mundo imaginario

4. Reto Popsugar

Este reto sé que es muylargo y díficil de cumplir, pero me gusta tanto y me parece tan divertido que me he es inevitable.

5. Retos personales

Aquí me refiero a cosas sobre libros que quiero cumplir pero que ni estpan establecidos en un reto tal cual. Como el año pasado si los estuve cumpliendo, este año me los quiero volver a proponer añadiendo otras cosillas para hacer mi proceso de lectura más organizado.

1. Leer al menos un libro en inglés al mes
2. Leer más diversidad de autores, géneros y tramas.
3. Leer un libro al mes de no ficción
4. Terminar sagas/series
5. Empezar nuevas sagas
6. Leer Los Miserables (porque el año pasado no lo pude leer T.T)
7. Leer 5 clásicos (excluyendo a Los Miserables)
8. Leer más autores latinos
9. Leer un libro de poesía al mes
10. Leer cada mes al menos un libro de mis estatenrías,uno sacado de la biblioteca y otro,un libro digital.
11. Escuchar un audiolibro
12. Leer un manga/cómic/novela gráfica

6.  Reto El lector inquieto 2.0

Este reto me lo propusé el año pasadoy no lo pude completar por la cuestión de las reseñas principalmente, y estaba dudando en hacerlo por la misma razón,pero ya, es que me gusta mucho y este año voya hacer un mega esfuerzo. Por cierto, este reto es de Trance de letras, para más información hagan clic acá.

Consiste en leer libros de acuerdo a las siguientes categorías y hacer una reseña de los mismo, dando tu punto de vista del libro, del tema en cuestión y de cómo fue tratado en el libro.

Empieza ya este sábado así que prontito les haré entrada de lo que es para que se unan y de los libros que leeré.

2)Maratón Guadalupe-Reinas

El año pasado no pude participar porque ya había empezado cuando me enteré y ya tenía otras lecturas,pero este año sé que podré tenerlo todo planeado, y aparte me encanta este maratón.

Cuando se acerque también les diré de qué va.

8. FIL Guadalajara 2019 y conocer más autores

Esto lo llevo haciendo desde el 2015, este año no debe ser la excepción, además de que es maravilloso.

9.  El Blog

Me siento satisfecha con lo hice y logré en el 2018 con el blog, desafortunadamente me cortaron lainspiración (como quién dice jaja) pero vengo con muchas ganas,inspiración y emoción este año. Reanudaré algunas secciones y empezaré otras. También con las reseñas me quiero poner bien trucha jaja.

10. Escritura, otros blogs.

Me lo propusé el año pasado y no pude cumplirlos, así que este año no es tanto un reto sinoun propósito. Realmente quiero ponerme con la escritura y este año quiero adquirir cuando menos la costumbrey además la inspiración,porque en ese punto desde hace mucho que no tengo ideas y eso me entristece.

Y sobre los blogs,hice el blog personal pero no escrbí nada :v, este año quisiera seguir con ello, pero más que nada me gustaría abrir un blog de literatura versión inglés, pero lo estoy viendo.

¡Retos literarios 2018!

¿Qué hay lectores?
El otro día les traje el recuento de retos que me propusé en 2017 y ahora toca traerles los retos que me he propuesto para este año.
Esta es una de las primeras entradas que quería traerles este año, pero ya ven la vida que me ha hecho traersellas hasta hoy, sin embargo, espero que se animen a unirse y participar conmigo porque estoy viendo que este año tendré mucho que hacer.
Para no hacer esto más largo de lo que sé que será, vamos comenzando.

1. Reto Goodreads

El famoso reto Goodreads que simplemente cosiste en ponerte un número de libros por leer en todo el año. El año pasado mi reto fue de 60 libros lo superé con 7, así que esta vez me propongo leer 73 libros. Espero cumplirlo, obviamente.

2. Reto La Vuelta al Mundo 2018

Un reto creado por Babelio (red social para lectores) y que consiste en recorrer el mundo leyendo libros. Esto se cumple con el número de páginas y libros qué lees, de acuerdo la cantidad de páginas, son los kilómetros que recorres. La meta es llegar a recorrer 40000 km, que son los km que se recorren cuando das toda la vuelta al mundo.

Cómo obtener kilómetros:
Libro de menos de 100 páginas = 25 km
Libro de 101 a 250 páginas = 50 km
Libro de 251 a 500 páginas = 75 km
Libro de 501 a 700 páginas = 100 km
Libro de 701 páginas o más = 200 km

Categorías: (Según los km que quieres recorrer al final)
-Caminante (2000 kilómetros)
-Ciclista (4000 kilómetros)
-Conductor (10000 kilómetros)
-Navegante (20000 kilómetros)
-Aviador (30000 kilómetros)
-Trotamundos (40000 kilómetros)

Este reto me parece muy original y divertido, pero también complicado y porque me estoy proponiendo muchos retos y además sé el grosor de los libros que suelo leer me anoto a la categoría de Ciclista :).

Además hay otras cosas que te dan más km y son las siguientes:
1 libro que empiece con la letra de tu apellido (15 kilómetros)
1 libro publicado el año de tu nacimiento (15 kilómetros)
1 libro de un autor latinoamericano (20 kilómetros)
1 libro publicado durante el año del reto (20  kilómetros)
1 libro de un género que no hayas leído todavía (25 kilómetros)
1 libro que empezaste y dejaste de leer (25 kilómetros)
1 libro de literatura de viajes (30 kilómetros)
2 libros relacionados entre sí (Ejemplo: Orgullo y prejuicio / Orgullo y prejuicio y zombies. 50 kilómetros)

Babelio estará dando a conocer otros retos que darán más km durante el año.

3. Reto Lector Inquieto

Este reto es creación del blog Trance de Letras y me pareció muy interesante, así que decidí unirme y participar en el Lector Inquieto Nivel 1, soy muy ambiciosa lo sé pero me gustaría leer sobre todo esto y con este reto es una buena manera de animarme.

Reglas:

1. Para completar el reto deberás hacer reseña de cada uno de los libros que leas y dar tu opinión y postura sobre el tema en cuestión, siempre desde el respeto ;)
2. No olvides etiquetarme cuando compartas tu reseña, me encantaría poder leerla y compartirla :D
3. Debes apuntarte en los comentarios de está entrada, así podremos llevar un seguimiento de los lectores e ir actualizando las lecturas en la página del reto.
4. Elige el nivel del reto que harás:

Lector Inquieto Nivel 1: El reto completo, leer 12 libros de las 12 categorías (aproximadamente uno por mes) y hacer su respectiva reseña (la puedes hacer en tu blog, goodreads, babelio, lecturalia, Beek, Instagram o Facebook).

4. Reto Popsugar 2018

El año pasado también me uní al Popsugar y cumplí como la mitad de los retos pero la verdad no le presté atención, cosa que pienso cambiar este año y pues nada, son muchas cosas por cumplir y tan solo ver eso me pone nerviosa. Aunque creo que los retos de este año son más alcanzables para mí y además me gustan porque me parecen divertidos.

Consiste en leer 12 libros que cumplan los requisitos de la imagen y creo que es muy sencillo de cumplir por la cantidad de libros y porque para mí, los requisitos que pide son requisitos que quiero leer realmente este año.

6. Retos personales

Además de los retos anteriores, tengo mis propios propósitos que quiero cumplir este año, alguno que otro ya lo he realizado pero no los quiero dejar así que me los vuelvo a proponer jaja.

8. El Blog

El año pasado me propuse estar más activa en el blog y lo cumplí. Este año me propongo lo mismo pero también me propongo no dejar abandonadas las secciones del blog porque hay algunas en las que no he hecho nada y eso hasta me vergüenza, así que este 2018 no más secciones abandonadas.

También me gustaría hacer más reseñas y hacer algunos cambios en el blog.

9. Escritura

Además de leer también me gusta escribir pero a diferencia de lo primero, no soy nada constante escribiendo y nunca termino nada de lo que empiezo a escribir.

Por eso este año quiero proponerme escribir más, una página, diez minutos todos los días o al menos dos veces por semana porque escribir es algo que me gusta mucho, porque quiero terminar todo eso que tengo empezado y porque en un futuro quisiera llegar a tener mi propio libro y tengo que comenzar con cosas pequeñas.

De esto, tal vez les comparta algunas cosas y tips que voy aprendiendo, así que tal vez haga alguna sección sobre esto.

10. Un blog personal

Este blog está dedicado solo a los libros pero también me gustaría hacer un blog más personal, donde hable sobre otras cosas como música, cine, arte, lo que sea, incluso reflexiones mías, pensamientos.

Está en proceso, así que cuando este listo les avisaré para que se den una vuelta.

11. FIL Guadaljara 2018 y conocer autores

Desde el 2015, que fue la primera vez que fui a la FIL no he faltado y este 2018 tampoco quiero hacerlo, porque la FIL es vida para los lectores, es increíble y siempre he ganado en ella momentos inolvidables, además de cada año también he logrado conocer autores y este año quiero conocer más.

Estos son todos los retos literarios que me he propuesto este 2018. Espero que me vaya muy bien en ellos porque sí son muchos y sin querer se hicieron más de diez.

Los invito a que unan y participen en estos retos, en los que más le llamen para apoyarnos entre todos y vivir estas experiencias lectoras juntos. Porque la razón por la que yo hago estos retos no es porque quiero leer muchos libros y cumplir muchos retos y alardear de ello. No. Sino que los hago para tener nuevas experiencias lectoras y no solo lectoras, sino más que eso. Aprender nuevas cosas, descubrir nuevos mundos y formas de pensar, conocer lugares en los que quizás nunca estaré, compartir opiniones y gustos, divertirme leyendo. Porque los retos para mí son algo que potencian más el placer de la lectura y las razones por las que lo hacemos.
